Keeping a Strong Relationship After Baby

Having a baby changes your relationship...learn how to change it for the better.

Having a baby join the family can be a wonderful first in a couple’s journey together. However, even the best relationships are often strained in the transition to parenthood. The strength of a relationship is not measured by the lack of conflict, but instead by the speed and frequency of repair after hurt or anger. Unfortunately, most couples don’t know how to fight or lean into each other and the relationship for support when overwhelmed, distressed, hurt or angry.
In this group session we will introduce you to the tools and insight necessary to utilize all your feelings to build closeness in the midst of conflict and challenges. As a couple, you will learn how to refocus on intimacy and learn how to strengthen the “couple alliance” in order to offer yourself more fully as parents.
