About the teacher
Jenna Long, RD, CLEC is a pediatric dietitian who splits her time between counseling patients in the hospital setting and in a private practice. Jenna earned her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. She completed her dietetic internship from University California Davis Medical Center and did a pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Orange County (CHOC). At CHOC, Jenna works with doctors, speech therapists, pharmacists and nurses to ensure that the babies, kids and teens are getting proper nutrition while they are hospitalized and are set up for success when they go home. It's challenging to know what is “right” in nourishing children - whether that be in starting solids with a baby, struggling with a picky eater, or helping an under or overweight child move towards their healthy weight.
Class is one hour long. Class is complimentary courtesy of Granola Babies and Yumi. Registration is required, as space is limited.
