The Storchenwiege Baby Wrap was designed by a German textile engineer with over forty years experience. When he became a grandfather for the first time, he saw that his active kids needed more mobility than a stroller offered them and the baby needed more support than a typical front-pack gave her. He put his experience to use designing a super supportive fabric with double cotton thread woven with diagonal elasticity.

How to Use:
All Storchenwiege Baby Wraps come with tying instructions that were developed by a certified instructor from the school for babywearing instructors in Dresden, Germany. While it may take some focus to initially learn how to tie a wrap, once you’ve done it a few times you no longer have to think about it.

A Storchenwiege Baby Wrap is soft and snuggly enough to be used the first day your baby enters in the world, and it can be used as long as you are strong enough to carry your child. After that it can go on to be a hammock, swing, or material for a fort. The possibilities are endless.

How does the rental work?

• Rent a baby sling for up to 2 weeks from the date it arrives.
• After 2 weeks, simply ship it back to Granola Babies (we recommend using insurance). Once it's here, you'll receive store credit to use at Granola Babies for your deposit, minus the actual shipping we paid to ship the baby carrier to you. In other words, free shipping does not apply to rental baby carriers.

Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a rental carrier, you agree to these terms and conditions

• Once the baby carrier is received back to us, you'll receive a gift certificate for the deposit of one of the rentals you made and a refund for any others. Gift certificates don't expire, so you can take your time using it.
• At this time, we are only shipping rentals to customers within the USA (including APO addresses). Mostly because it costs you too much to have to pay shipping to you and then back to us.
• Please be sure to ship it in time so it gets here within 3 weeks of date received by you. There's a late fee of $10/week (minimum of one week fee) if it's not received (here physically, not just in transit to us) within 3 weeks of date received. We usually have at least one person waiting for some of the rentals to come back.
• Normal wear is expected, but tears or damages to the baby carrier will be charged a fee.
• Please don't wash the baby carrier  - we'll wash it once it's here. Spot clean as needed with free and clear detergent.
• Sorry, but we can't rent to smokers - both indoors and outdoors smokers.
