It really does take a village and in our 6 week mommy support groups you'll be supported as a mother and meet other new mommies in OC. You'll receive evidence-based information on growing a healthy and happy baby, as well as get a chance to ask questions and share with other mommies. Each week in our comfortable community room we'll reconnect and discuss a weekly topic. Babies will also enjoy playing and exploring with natural toys each week.

• Learn tips and coping skills

Topics covered the series include sleep, creating balance, feeding, infant development, infant sign language, and more.

Gifts for mama and baby

Mamas in the group will have complimentary access to our lending library during the series and will be gifted a free baby toy.

About the group facilitator

Giselle Baturay, BS, CLE, DONA-trained Postpartum Doula is the owner of Granola Babies and the mother of three children that have been raised green from birth. Giselle is a DONA-trained Postpartum Doula and Lactation Educator (CLEC) and trained Babywearing Educator. She is currently part of the Childbirth Education program through the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA). For years she has provided pregnancy and parenting support and continues to do so through support, education and encouragement in both private consultations and also through the various events and programs at Granola Babies.

Cost/Registration

The 6 week series is $75 per mother-child. The Mommy Support + Playgroup is designed for expecting mother and new mothers of babies 0 - 8 months old. Registration is required, as space is limited. For questions, please call the store at 714-445-4948.

All of our events and classes take place at Granola Babies, 3315 Hyland Avenue, Suite B in Costa Mesa in Orange County, CA.
