Movie Night - "Guerrilla Midwife" (Thursday, May 31st @ 7pm)

Every month Granola Babies is hosting through the Doula Assocation of Southern California (DASC) a Movie Night for families in Orange County. 

About the movie "Guerrilla Midwife

A globally acclaimed, award-winning documentary that takes you along the fragrant streets of Bali and desolate Acehnese refugee camps of the Indonesian Archipelago, where, Midwife-Ibu Robin Lim finds herself at a time and place where midwifery is put to the test. This culturally mesmerizing, and sometimes heart-wrenching documentary vividly demonstrates why we must change our protocols for pregnancy and childbirth, and return to a gentle, natural method

Includes raffles and refreshments and we'll also get to enjoy SoCo's $1 Taco Night too! So, come for dinner and stay for the movie.

Children are welcomed to attend.

About DASC

DASC is a non-profit professional community of doulas which recognizes the profundity of birth on the human experience and society at large, while respecting the individual needs of childbearing families. We provide a supportive forum for maintaining professional standards, continuing the education of birth and postpartum doulas, and informing the public of the benefits of doula care.

Cost/Registration

Movie night is free to attend!  Donation of $5 per person to DASC is appreciated and also enters you into the raffle!  Register to attend through this page (add to cart and proceed) or by calling the store at 714-445-4948.
