Tidbits around the kitchen

It’s “winter” here in Southern California. That means that when it’s about, say, 70F degrees, we start to feel the urge to have wintery things such as hot cocoa. And so one afternoon, I made the kids hot cocoa (we’re dairy free so it was with almond milk) and made myself coffee in the afternoon. I felt all those warm fuzzy feelings making these as you may, say, at 30F degrees in a cabin up in the wintery snowy mountains. And while doing so I glanced around my kitchen (one of my favorite rooms of our small house…the first being my daughter’s cozy room). Once the coffee was done and poured, I was done…enjoy.
