Petunia Pickle Bottom Satchel & Weekender Comparison

Backing the basics and a little more?

The Petunia Pickle Bottom Satchel is the diaper bag that I carry around most days. It is worn like a tote, but also has the option of being carried on your back. It’s great for a light to medium packer that takes the basics and not much  more. If you have one child and you pack the basics with you – diapers, creams, your wallet, change of clothing, a wetbag and maybe a small toy, then you’ll be able to use the Satchel, though it will be at it’s capacity. Or if you’re like me with more than one child but you’re a light packer, then it’ll be a good diaper bag for you. And by capacity, I mean that you can easily get to what you need. Yes, if needed you can pack it to the rim, but you’ll have a hard time getting to what you need.

Packing absolutely everything that can possibly be needed?

The Petunia Pickle Bottom Weekender is a bigger bag – it carries bigger, it’s bigger in size.  It can be carried on your shoulders, but doesn’t become a backpack like the Satchel does. It fits a lot more in the bag the Satchel and it’s a good choice for overnight trips, day trips and for those that like to pack a lot – more than the basics. I can fit everything that I pack in the Satchel but with a lot more room and it also gives me additional room to pack more essentials, plus extras.

Let’s see a video comparison!

Here’s a video demonstration at Granola Babies that shows you what the Satchel looks packed and how does same items look like in the Weekender.
